My husband does woodworking on the side and he just finished this wonderful project replicating a 100 year old Birdhouse. He made another similar one and we started referring to them as “the bird hotels.” They are as big as a small dog house!

I put ground flax seeds in all my pancakes.
However, I added half n’ half instead of water to this pre-made pancake mix. Also, for my kids 
, I add chocolate chips after the mix is in the skillet.

My Hubby made a PERFECT Breakfast Tray for me and then left it for me on Valentine’s morning with a mini Rose Plant and a love note, and junior mints (my favorite). I embellished this Romantic Scene with a heart pancake and some pink/peachy grapefruit juice…for an adorable picture, ya’ know!

Valentine’s Day was a success at our house…
My present for my hubby was a day late…ooops! I cooked a very nice meal that I made last night; meatballs and pasta and cooked asparagus. I pulled out some homemade frozen Carrot Cake (made with coconut and pineapple) out of the freezer and that was still as yummy as ever. I’ll share these recipes later when I can take some great pictures!

You may have noticed all the wonderful woodworking projects my husband has been building from cheap and/or free wood. He has had great success selling Potting Benches (3 different sizes and looks) and hutches. He uses newer looking wood and older grey wood for the “Rustic” looking ones. He can sell them for an affordable price because of the wood he finds mostly on his route as a Local Truck Driver.
After tossing around many different names, including the kid’s favorite: Beilner Building and Blogging, the new name of his part-time business is Dream Garden Woodworks! We’re excited for this new venture and thank God for providing!
