Photo shoot of my Son

We had so much fun with this photo shoot that originally was just for the wooden bench that my husband made. But, as you can see my son became the star of the show and the bench! Summer is officially over!

Free Junkie Fridays: Stylish Rain Boots

I’ve been admiring Stylish Rubber Boots and I wanted some but not for the price of $20 or more! I decided to look for some Thrift Store Rubber Boots and Decorate them myself with some Paint!

Mom and Daughter Black Rubber Boots

We found these Black Rubber Boots at our local 2nd Chance Thrift Store for 2 and 3 dollars. They are the right size for me and my daughter.

Painters

We found these “Painters” at Walmart. We bought a multi-color pack; the pack was almost $10 which is spendy but we’re going to use them for other projects, too!

Hand-painted Stylish Black Rubber Boots

I used yellow and brown “painters” to paint sunflowers and my daughter used yellow and purples to paint cute designs on hers!

What do you think? You can do the same thing…polka dots or swirls would be fun to! Whatever floats your boat! or your boot!

These convenient and CUTE Towel Swim Bags were made from Martha Stewart Hand Towels. I folded them, vertically, sewed along the edges and added pockets to the front and a strap. My kids use them a lot. Their goggles and or sunscreen, etc. go in the front pockets, while their towel and swimsuit go inside. Its dries easily and washes easily. And very durable! Try making one yourself!
