My new Craft Desk and Breakfast Sandwiches

Craft Work AreaThis is my new Craft/Sewing Desk which is in our bedroom. I fit most of everything I need on or near this desk. My craft ready supplies include thread of various colors, bias tape of various colors, ribbon and a bin full of vintage sheets.

work stationI found the vintage like drop-leaf dining table off Craigslist and can expand on one or two sides when I need too. The bulletin board reminds me of my favs and important things to remember like “Enjoy the Moments.”

GIVE THANKS bunting projectThis was a fun project just before Thanksgiving. A GIVE THANKS bunting. I used iron-on paper to put the letters on my triangles, sewed the two sides together, then sewed some bias tape to finish the bunting project. I put them in my booth at the Antique Mall in Bellingham, WA, Penny Lane.

bunting completeI thought this color scheme would work for Thanksgiving but also throughout the year.

Breakfast SandwichI recently have a craving for breakfast sandwiches and will make up a dozen or so and put in the fridge for quick, heat in the microwave breakfasts or snacks. I either make my own biscuits or bake the ones from the can. I make up a pan of bacon, sausage or ready cooked ham (I cook the bacon or sausage patties in the oven). I whip up some eggs with a little half n half and salt and pepper and bake in pie pan in oven. Then I cut out circle shaped egg patties with a mason jar lid. Add some mayo and cheese to your meat and egg and you are ready to do anything!!

I got some free red checkered wax wrap at a restaurant ( I asked to pay for a few and they gave me a stack.) I wrap my breakfast sandwiches in the fancy wrap, then wrap in seran wrap for a secure hold. Before microwaving, I remove the seran wrap and heat in the wax paper for only 30 seconds. More is too much!
