We needed a couple of bar stools for our Island in our Kitchen. But, as usual, we didn’t want to pay the going rate.
I found these perfect, backed, swivelly, Country Bar Stools at our local dump. I had to pay $10 for them; but it was still a deal! Then we started painting!
We painted them white and added some Red Garage Sale Cushions (each for 50 cents).
Next time, take a look around at your local dump and see what treasure awaits you!

At Nooksack Valley Disposal ( on BirchBay Lynden Road), they have things that are set out by the Large Garbage Bins. You can ask how much something is or offer an amount to the people inside the office.
